Needed:

PSP X

This was written in X, but should

be workable in other versions.

A Tube of your choice.

A Bottom Edge Mask of your choice.

The mask I used can

be found HERE

You can use one of your

choice.

Plugins:

Sybia  HERE

Simple  HERE

Performance Notes:

All settings will remain the same

unless otherwise noted.

Let's Begin

1  File > Open (Ctrl + O)

Open your tube of choice.

2  Window > Duplicate Twice (Shift + D)

Close original.

3  Dropper Tool (E)

Foreground

Left click for light to medium color

from your graphic.

Note:

On the first copy of your

image:

4  Image > Resize

Settings:

Resample using = Smart Size

Lock aspect ratio = Checked

Resize all layers = Checked

Width = Will self adjust

Height = 375 Pixels

5  Edit > Copy

Minimize

Note:

On the 2nd copy of

your tube:

6  Image > Resize (Shift + S)

Settings:

Resample using = Smart Size

Lock aspect ratio = Unchecked

Resize all layers = Checked

Width = 1024

Height = 450 pixels

7  Effects > Image Effects >

Seamless Tiling

Settings:

Default

8  Layers > New Raster Layer

9  Layers > Arrange > Send To Bottom

10  Flood Fill Tool (F)

Settings:

Match mode = None

Use All Layers = Unchecked

Blend mode = Normal, Opacity = 100

Fill with your chosen color.

11  Layers > Merge > Merge Visible

12  Adjust > Blur > Gaussian Blur

Settings:

Radius = 20.00

13  Effects > Plugins > Sybia >

REALRADM

Settings:

Control O = 43, Control 1 = 255

Control 2 = 81, Control 3 = 0

Control 4 = 111, Control 5 = 0

Control 6 = 0, Control 7 = 0

14  Effects > Distortion Effects > Wave

Settings:

Horizontal Displacement:

Amplitude = 4, Wave Length = 15

Vertical Displacement:

Amplitude = 4, Wave Length = 15

Repeat = Checked

15  Effects > Plugins > Simple >

4 Way Average

16  Layers > Load/Save Mask >

Load Mask From Disk

Your chosen mask.

Settings: 

Your choice.

17  Layers > Merge > Merge Group

19  Edit > Paste As A New Layer

Note: If you are using a misted tube

you may want to skip this next step. 

20  Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow

Settings:

Vertical = 2, Horizontal = 2

Opacity = 50, Blur = 5.00

Color = Black

Shadow on new layer = Unchecked

21  Layers > New Raster Layer

22  Add your watermark.

23  If you choose to add

any text or brushes, this is

where you would do it.

24  Layers > Merge > Merge Visible

25  Image > Canvas Size

Settings:

Lock aspect ratio = Unchecked

Width = 1024, Height = 2000

Placement = Top Center

26  Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow

27  Layers > New Raster Layer

28  Layers > Arrange > Send To Bottom

29  Flood Fill Tool (F)

Fill with your chosen color.

30  File > Export > JPEG Optimizer

Set compression value = 25 - 30
